How do I get to Portugal?
Faro International Airport (FAO) is the closest airport to our wedding venue. The drive from the airport will take between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on where you are staying.
Lisbon International Airport (LIS) is also an option, but it is a 2.5 hour drive.
How do I get from the airport?
We recommend pre-booking an airport transfer (~ā¬50 from Faro). You can also purchase transfers at the airport, though this may be more expensive. Uber is available but prices vary.
How do I get to the venue?
There will be buses from Vilamoura Marina and Albufeira Old Town leaving at approx. 2:30pm (to be confirmed closer to the day), returning at 2am. Please specify on your RSVP if you need the bus ā we cannot guarantee space otherwise.
You can also Uber to the venue, or there is parking available. Taxis between Albufeira and Vilamoura cost around ā¬20.
When do I need to arrive at the venue?
If you are making your own way to the venue, please aim to arrive by 3:00pm.

Please RSVP here on the website by June 10th 2026.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to capacity restrictions, we are only able to accommodate people who have been specifically invited. Please see your RSVP for details on guests included.
Are kids welcome?
Due to capacity restrictions, we are only able to accommodate children who have been specifically invited. Please see your RSVP for details on guests included.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please indicate your dietary requirements in the RSVP.
On the Day
What will the weather be like?
September in Portugal is quite warm, between 25-30Ā°C. All aspects of the day will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly. In the unlikely event of rain, proceedings will be moved indoors.
What should I wear?
We kindly ask guests to dress in classic wedding attire suitable for the warm weather. Light fabrics and summery colours are welcome! Please note the reception will be on grass, so avoid stilettos.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony ā our photographers will capture the moment. Feel free to take as many photos as you like afterwards, and please share them with us!
